you know it's a truly good design when even seasons later, you're still lusting over that one piece. rodarte's intricate cobwebby sweater has been kicking around the back of my head since i saw it float down the aw08 runway.
unfortunately, i don't have two grand eagerly waiting to be spent on a sweater that contributes very little in the warmth department. but luckily, i have my dearest mom who has offered to replicate the jumper for me; and if she does indeed get around to it with her busy schedule, it might prove to be the best christmas present of the year.
